Generation 2 Notes:

There are currently 237 Pokemon (241 with the new Legendaries) you are able to get in game in Virgina excluding, the regional pokemon (Heracross and Corsola) and the two pokemon Delibird and Smeargle that are not yet in game.

Evolution items from Pokéstops (they are RARE)

Gen 2 Evolution Items (evolve):

Sun Stone (Gloom to Bellossom / Sunkern to Sunflora)
King’s Rock (Poliwhirl to Politoed / Slowpoke to Slowking)
Metal Coat (Onix to Steelix / Scyther to Scizor)
Dragon Scale (Seadra to Kingdra)
Up-Grade (Porygon to Porygon2)

Tyrogue’s evolutions entirely dependent on its highest stat.

Attack Hitmonlee

Defense = Hitmonchan

HP = Hitmontop.

Any ties in stats will be a random choosing of the tied outcomes. That being said, ties between Attack and Stamina or Defense and Stamina tend to lean towards Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan respectively.

Eeveelution Notes

– Name your Eevee the corresponding name

– Exit out of the app and let it register the change

– (Wait at least 5 minutes because we all know the servers aren’t stable)

– This method is proven to work most of the time on the first of each eeveelution (i.e. you can use it to get one of each, after that it’s completely random)

Eevee Nicknames for Gen 2

Sakura for Espeon

Tamao for Umbreon

You can also set Eevee as your buddy and walk 10km. After walking 10km, keep it as your buddy and evolve it and, depending on the time of day it is for you, you will either get Espeon (day) or Umbreon (night)
